TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE NEW EXTENTIONIST TOOL KIT

Nowadays, agricultural and rural development faces many challenges among others crisis of food stuff prices, overusing of natural resources, uncertainty and constant changing of the markets, degradation of environment and climate change. Every country is affected irrespectively of their social, economic or political condition. Today, the biggest challenge is to succeed in making producers independent in this precarious context. The aim is no more just to popularize innovations but to give advices on how to improve the productivity. The GFRAS (World forum for rural advisory services) objective is to improve the efficiency of RAS to better serve rural producers and upgrade their life standard as far as hunger and poverty are concerned. RAS contribute to build independent farmers and better integrate them in the agricultural innovation systems. On the other hand, poverty in the rural area and world nutrition challenges remain despite of all the efforts made in the domain of development at the national and international level.
CAMFASS, Cameroonian Forum for agricultural advisory services will follow this vision through the implementation of techniques helping farmers to improve their working space and professionalize their job. That is the reason why the workshop on the new extortionist tool kit is organized.
