World Bank supervision mission to AFAAS

A World Bank team undertook a supervision support mission to AFAAS from 27-29 April 2015. The overall objective of the mission was to review the implementation progress of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) and any operational issues since the last mission in November 2014. Part of the activities was a field trip to the Zirobwe Agaliawamu Agribusiness Training Centre (ZAPTA) in Zirobwe. The World Bank team consisted of Willem Janssen (Task Team Leader) Bremala Nathan (Operations Officer), Tekola Dejene (Lead Consultant) and Joel Byaruhanga (FM Consultant based in Kampala). The mission was joined by Patrick Seruyange, the project representative of the European Commission’s Uganda Delegation. Dr. Silim Nahdy, the AFAAS Executive Director who was accompanied by AFAAS Secretariat staff.
