Münster, Germany, 21 June, 2017
The African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) represented by its Executive Director, Dr Silim Nahdy and the European Forum for Rural Advisory Services (EUFRAS) represented by Tom Kelly signed a cooperation agreement on 21 June, 2017 in Münster, Germany. Under this agreement, both parties decided to work together on some key areas like knowledge management, capacities building, technologies, innovations, youth and gender. In order to achieve the objectives of their cooperation, AFAAS and EUFRAS intend to consolidate the networking of agricultural extension and advisory services in Africa and Europe by making them more responsive to the needs of rural advisory services providers, farmers, value chain actors and policy makers.
